It is the time of the year - vacation time! Here is a little wait between Turkey and New Year days in the average person gains 7-10 pounds. The good news is that you avoid those extra pounds with a little know how. For most of us the books of the holiday begins with Thanksgiving dinner. Did you know that the average person consumes about 3,500 calories that day? Ouch. This represents a book in calories - not to mention the remains to eat a day. Use these tips and make Thanksgiving a crime is free this year:

1 Tip: Take two steps to start the day.

Step one: Eat breakfast. You see, most people skip breakfast on the day of Turkey "make room for the party - maybe you're you. If you have a healthy breakfast, which is rich in fiber and protein in both two great things happen to eat.

- Your metabolism is started early in the day, so full of calories that you catapult a real fire. This will be useful later in the day.

- You will not be hungry when you sit down to dinner, you have less room to a frenzy. (This means fewer calories on your property size.)

Step Two: Exercise for 30-60 minutes. I know that exercise is the last thing on your mind on a busy holiday season, but it's worth your trouble. They negate some of the extra calories from holiday and your metabolism will rise.

Tip # 2: Reduce the menu.

If you like the menu control, which makes it easier. As a leader you can see some changes to the meal, which will greatly reduce the consumption of fat and calories of each client. Follow these steps to make your party:

Use nonfat yogurt instead of sour cream or cream-based dips and sauces.

- Replace traditional stuffing with an assortment of chopped vegetables. Fill your turkey with mushrooms, eggplant, onions and celery. Or replace half of your traditional stuffing with chopped vegetables.

- Flavor your mashed potatoes with roasted garlic instead of butter. Or baked sweet potatoes instead of butter to serve over mashed potatoes.

- Roasted vegetables without oil - used cooking spray instead and mix with dill.

- Use unsweetened applesauce or pureed plums instead of butter or oil in recipes desserts.

- Development of an assortment of fruit for dessert instead of cake.

- Set down the recipe for Low Fat Thanksgiving Green Bean Casserole.

Traditional Thanksgiving foods are not all equal - that is nutritionally. Roast turkey (white skinned) is an excellent source of lean protein. Vegetable dishes (without added fat) are also in very good health. On the other side with butter, white bread, plates, cream, brown sauce and mashed hard, all packed with fat and calories. Fill your stomach with healthy elements first - white meat turkey and plenty of vegetables. Then simply "sample" of less healthy products in smaller portions. It is so easy to do, you will save a lot of calories, and you're not denying that you yourself, either.

Tip 4: pace yourself.

Most people in difficulty in eating Thanksgiving dinner at full speed until they realize they are full (after their second and third assists). The problem with this approach is the latency of communication between the stomach and brain. In fact, you are likely to satisfy your hunger with the first plate of food to satisfy, but your stomach takes a while to get this message to your brain. And during that lag time that you have the opportunity to your plate, second and third of the food has to go. This year, sit quietly in your chair after the first plate and wait at least 20 minutes before seconds. You will be surprised that the idea sounds to more food is not much - and you saved yourself unnecessary weight gain.

Hire a coach is different than recruiting a friend to the feeding, or ask your spouse to help you. In fact, it is unlikely either to keep from the media "is tested when. If your husband is like mine, it is not helpful at all. I get:" It's a celebration, enjoy! "Or:" It is Christmas, what you want.
